Offerings

Three ways of working together

First Offering

Doula Holding

A place to rest your story

For when you want to slow down, breathe, and have your experience deeply acknowledged. This isn't a fixing, nor an advice giving space—Doula Holding is about listening, witnessing and support.

You may be accustomed to schedules of doula support that centre attendance at birth, bookended by a relatively small amount of antenatal and postnatal visits. Whilst there is undoubtedly a place for this, it may be that your needs simply don’t fit there. Doula Holding recognises and holds space for the rich and multifaceted threshold experiences that can unfold during the perinatal season of life.

You are not asked to arrive at a predetermined point. It can simply be that you have recognised your need for support, and you feel a call to explore that. Gently, and without pressure. This is about the deep exhale, the place from which your own wants and needs can come forward.

The doula holding space is an invitation to you if:

  • You are longing to feel grounded, heard, and connected—but unsure where to find that kind of depth.
  • You have realised you are entering some deep thresholds e.g. birth, loss, identity shifts.
  • You are feeling tender, overwhelmed, or uncertain in the landscape of pregnancy, birth, loss, and beyond.
  • You have been holding curiosity about working with a doula.
  • You are carrying fears, grief, or unspoken worries that don't fit neatly into mainstream perinatal care.
  • You know in your gut we aren't meant to be doing this alone, and you don't want to.

  • Bookable as a standalone call or as needed

Second Offering

Doula Companioning

Your continuous thread of support

At its core, a doula's role is to companion, to hold space, to offer skilful support when we find ourselves in life's threshold moments. Pregnancy, birth, new parenthood, loss—all present us some of the biggest thresholds we will ever experience. With the very real lack of community that is a reality of modern life for many, we know all too well how painful and bewildering it can be to cross these with inadequate support.

Doula companioning meets you at your own unique thresholds, bringing steady, attuned presence, and flexible support tailored to you.

Here you are offered a gently held space to return to. A place to land the in-between moments where questions, emotions, and decisions arise. Whether that's uncertainty around care options, waves of fear or doubt about birth, conflicting advice, or simply a place to rest, gather yourself and connect back to your intuition.

Companioning offers a tenderly held container that supports both the emotional and practical unfolding of this time. It is not rigid or prescriptive, but responsive—shaped around your needs as they arise.

Each companioning option includes:

  • 2 zoom video calls of 60 minutes per month
  • Access to voice note / message support (Monday–Friday, within agreed response rhythms)
  • Emotional holding, reflection, and practical guidance as needed

Third Offering

Postpartum Tending

Support for the transition into motherhood

Postpartum is a time of deep and intense change on so many levels. We are often raw, overwhelmed, and bone tired. And yet, societally, many of the practices that once tended the mother through this pivotal transition have all but eroded.

Postpartum tending visits offer gentle, grounded in person doula support, from the early weeks after birth and beyond. A space for rest, to speak the truth of your experience, and receive practical support.

They are an invitation to let yourself be held as you move through this threshold, supporting you to feel more regulated, resourced, and rooted in your own unfolding experience of motherhood.

Visits can be booked as one-off support, or as an ongoing rhythm of care during the postpartum period. They can take place in your home, hospital, or another place of your choice.

Postpartum Tending intentionally has a different pricing structure than my online offerings. This is to reflect its roots in local, community-based care.

Visits are bespoke to your needs, with flexible attuned support at the centre. You can expect to be deeply listened to, in a way that honours your experience.

Postpartum support may include:

  • Space for your birth story to be witnessed
  • Support around feeding choices, whether breast, bottle, or combination feeding
  • Gentle support around newborn care, including bathing, dressing, nappies, and settling - always with a dynamic that supports your own confidence and skills
  • Caring for your baby whilst you shower, sleep, rest, or simply pause
  • Preparing nourishing drinks, snacks, or simple meals
  • Light household support such as laundry, dishes, tidying, or resetting shared spaces
  • Supporting sibling rhythms and transitions where helpful
  • Exploring what wider support and care around you could look like
  • Sharing evidence-based information and resources where needed
